RECENT TEACHING SERIES

Jonah - Winter/Spring 2024

Sometimes people see the book of Jonah as nothing more than a basic children’s story.  The truth is… nothing could be further from the truth.  Jonah is the story of a man struggling with his faith who has to deal with his own prejudices and pride- a man who is more inclined to run from God than to follow God’s will and calling.  In so many ways his life mirrors are own.  Join us for this series as we unpack practical insights on how to grow our faith and remove the obstacles that prevent us from reaching our potential.

My Chaotic Christmas - Winter 2023

Life is full of challenges and disappointments.  We make plans and dream our dreams but so often things don't come together as we hope.  The Christmas story can help us in those moments.  Here we see God working a plan behind the scenes and bringing peace and blessing in the midst of the turmoil.  Join us each week of this series as we unpack the amazing way God works even when life doesn't make sense.

Chain Reaction - Winter 2024

Everything we do causes a chain reaction. How we choose to use our time, treasure, and talents can impact the lives of others around us - what we do with that matters. Join us for this series as we talk about how we invest our lives in our relationship with Jesus and help others build their relationship.

The Parenting Challenge - Fall 2023

One of the huge challenges parents face today is equipping their kids with the tools they need to live a life of faith in a world that often challenges that faith.  In this series we will look at ways we can help our kids grow their faith, embrace the hope that only Jesus offers, and also communicate hope to the people around them.

UPCOMING SERIES

This is what our Sermon Discussion groups are talking about!

How to Hug a Vampire

Current Series

Over the last few years there has been a serious coarsening of our culture.  People have lost respect for others who hold different views on life and politics and instead of discussing the differences people prefer a fight.  Disagreement has morphed into hate.  But we as Christ followers need to live differently.  We are called to love one another- encourage one another and pray for one another and this applies not only to the like-minded people around us but also to those who think differently.  Join us for this series as we look at how God wants our faith to inform our interactions with the different people- difficult people- and even the vampires- in our lives.

My Toxic Mind

Starting June 2

Our minds are extremely powerful.  What we think affects our emotions and fuels our actions and reactions.  And sometimes we take our lives to some dark places because we have not carefully interrogated our thoughts and guarded against extreme and negative thoughts.  Join us for this series as we look at practical strategies that help us avoid a toxic mind.

21 Days of Prayer

Starting Aug 4

Prayer has power. In this series, we are dedicating 21 days as a church family to prayer for our church, our community, and our world.
