2 Corinthians 9:7

Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

This verse is explaining that you should give what you can and want, not under pressure or feeling of obligation.

How to give: LifePoint Church is grateful to all who give to support God’s work in the Harrisburg PA area.  Your giving does more than just help us pay bills;  it helps you to invest in your community, in your fellow man, and in the development of our future leaders.  It is an opportunity to give back to God a portion of what he has graciously already given us.  Our staff and finance team is committed to making certain that your gifts go to furthering God’s work with full accountability and an ethical practice.

Giving is an integral part of our relationship with God. Giving is an act of worship that allows us to give back to God for what He has given to us. Giving is an act of faith and a statement of priority.  A believer labors not to accrue personal wealth or possessions, but to steward God's resources given to them well and model Jesus to our neighors, family and the entire community around us.
